Tactic: Social Media Sweepstakes and Advertising

The Regan Group turned to Adhesive Marketing for ideation and complete execution of a Facebook holiday promotion for their client Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen.

Our objectives were to increase Facebook Likes, ensure lead generation for the client’s email database and drive in-store traffic.

We came up with the Peace, Joy & Pizza sweepstakes, a nationwide promotion that shines a light on philanthropy. The grand prizewinner received $2,000 cash as well as another $2,000 donation to the charity of their choice.

Once Adhesive conceived the key art, we designed timeline posts, Facebook ads and developed the Facebook sweepstakes tab, as well as a mobile friendly microsite that was served when a person attempted to access the entry form using a smart phone or tablet. A text to win component was added to the mix as well.

In-store creative included employee t-shirts, menu boards, posters and counter cards to create further reach.

Throughout the 43-day campaign, we awarded daily instant win prizes from companies that donate either a portion of their sales or products to those in need. Every person who entered received a free Pepsi coupon with purchase.

The campaign was deemed a success since it resulted in over 178,419 entries, 14,779 newsletter opt-ins and 4,800 new Facebook page likes!
